Community Guidelines

Milann is built for adults dating with intention. These guidelines keep it real, respectful, and safe — in profiles, photos, chats, and when you meet in person.

Last updated September 14, 2026

Always

Be real

Your own photos, your real identity, one account.

Always

Be respectful

Treat every match with courtesy, and take no for an answer.

Never

Share explicit content

No nudity or sexual content — it’s blocked before it’s sent.

Never

Ask for money

No money requests, investment pitches, or selling.

01Be real

Every member on Milann is verified. That trust only works if everyone stays honest.

  • Use recent photos of yourself, with your face clearly visible.
  • Use your real identity. Don’t pretend to be someone else or create a fake profile.
  • Keep one account.
  • Be truthful about your age, relationship status, and what you’re looking for.

02Be respectful

  • Treat every match with courtesy, even if you’re not interested.
  • Take “no” — and silence — as an answer. Don’t keep messaging someone who hasn’t replied or has asked you to stop.
  • No hate speech, slurs, or attacks based on caste, religion, gender, sexuality, ethnicity, disability, or appearance.
  • No threats, bullying, stalking, or intimidation.

03Keep it clean

  • No nudity or sexual content in photos or messages. Our safety tools block explicit images and inappropriate messages before they’re sent.
  • No unsolicited sexual messages or requests.
  • Anything involving a person under 18 is strictly prohibited and will be reported to the authorities.

04No scams, spam, or selling

  • Never ask a match for money, gifts, or financial details — and never send money to someone you haven’t met.
  • No investment, crypto, or business pitches.
  • No promotion, advertising, or recruiting.
  • No soliciting paid sexual services.

05Respect privacy

  • Don’t share another member’s personal details, photos, or messages without their permission.
  • Take your time before sharing your phone number, home address, or workplace. Get to know someone first.

07Meeting in person

  • Meet somewhere public for your first few dates.
  • Tell a friend or family member where you’re going and who you’re meeting.
  • Arrange your own transport, so you decide when to leave.
  • Keep chatting on Milann until you trust someone — our safety tools only protect chats inside the app.
  • Trust your instincts. If something feels off, leave, and report it.

08How we enforce these guidelines

We use automated safety tools and human review. Depending on what happened, we may:

  • block a message or image before it’s sent;
  • warn you;
  • restrict features or suspend your account;
  • permanently remove your account and, in serious cases, report it to the police.

If you think we got it wrong, write to us at info@milann.app and we’ll review our decision.

09Reporting a concern

Use Report and Block on any profile or chat in the app, and our team will review it. You can also email us at info@milann.app.

In immediate danger? Call 112. For online fraud or harassment, call the cyber crime helpline 1930 or report at cybercrime.gov.in. The Women Helpline is 181.
